for a Sony Stereo Model STR-DE575 in PROTECT mode.
Replaced Q754, Q753, R766, IC501 ( STK350-230 )
Resolded all bad points.

Now the problem, is the right output has a lot of distortion, left side working ok.

Any help would be appreciated

From my many years of repairing audio units distortion
was almost always caused by low ohm resistors...
you may have more resistors that are bad...
One thing that is good here is you have one channel
that is working properly and so you can compare the
two with a good scope

With a good scope and some more patience you will
find your problem. Also I would find filter caps generally
in the low uf range.

If you have the schematic this should be something that
can be found...

Right now your best friend is your scope
and the channel that is working
properly...

Replaced 3, 100 ohm rest. all is well.

Donald can you help me with my strde475 that is in protect mode,it was working fine except the tuner, but i swapped the tuner for a good one, now i know the problem is not the tuner, i replaced all caps around UPC2581V chips on the main board where the smoked area is , IC701 and IC702. IC701 serves the FL and SL channels while IC702 serves the FR and SR channels. Something in the vicinity must have blown as i turned on the power it smelled burned but could not see nothing burned,now nothing works and it goes in PROTECT MODE,i can't believe that i replaced all dried caps around the UPC2581 and now nothing works.any clues thanks in advance.
