My Sylvania LC370SS9, 37" LCD TV is completely dead, No lights, noise or anything. I already removed the rear cover to the check the fuse and its fine (0.5 ohms). beyond the fuse I don't know what I'm looking at. I have noticed that when I plug the TV in, I hear a small pop and see a small arc as if there's a considerable load on the circuit. I'm new at this so any help would be greatly appreciated. |

No "Puffed Lytics?"
Check for bad diodes on power supply. |

I have also found there is 170 VDC on the large red/black wired connector, does this mean the power supply is fine and some other board is bad. |

IF raw B+ were the only voltage on a particular power supply. See if edge connectors are marked for voltages. |
