Make: Sylvania 42 lcd
Model: LC420SS8
MFG Date : 10/07

Problem: Push power green blinks twice back to red, set does not come on

Tried: Have correct voltage from wall removed cover have power to ckt board. saw fuse removed checked with continuity tester fuse ok visually looked over boards no obviously burnt components

My Skills: I have repaired pinball board (bridges caps optos transistors resistors ETC...) not afraid to solder Fami;lar with the use of a Multimeter.

Thanks in advance to anybody who could possibly help

If you had this set while it was working properly or even if you did not it is possible a bad or broken panel will cause this problem on this set.
It is easy to check this. Disconnect the panel from the digital pcb and the backlights will light. This will tell you if you have a panel problem.
