hi , I have a 42 " Toshiba lcd that , when turned on, displays a perfect image for 1 to 10 seconds and then fades to grey. the audio stays on. the screen does NOT go to gloss black as if it loses power... it stays grey as if the backlights are still on. I can buy used boards for this as necessary if anyone recognizes this as a know issue and can tell me which board to buy. failing that , anyone have a diagnostic procedure for this specific set ?
