I have two of these televisions, both with relatively the same problem.
eBay purchase, (sold for parts) both worked for about 5 minutes then -power off. ,The power supplies have the five and 16 volt output. Keep in mind I'm a newbie.

From what I have seen this is a common problem with this model.

I know this thread is really old but I'm having similar problems. In the off chance that you see this and have resolved the issues would you care to share?
