VIZIO M65-C1

I bought this TV used from craigslist for 200$. Guy said it doesn't power on but probably just needs a new power board, he just didn't want to deal with it. I brought it home took it apart and I see that the connector on the power board that goes to the 2 LED driver boards is fried, browned around 3 of the pins labeled 24V. The connector on the cable is also fried and brittle, but still seems useable.

I order a new power board, put it in and it works! I am amazed and very happy.

6 months later tv won't power on again, I open it up and the same thing has happened again. I can't seem to find another power board for sale online and the connector this time is to fried to use again.

The power light comes on for a few seconds when you hit the power button but then fades off.

Any idea whats causing this to happen?

If this were my TV, I would snip off the burnt end of those wires and solder them directly to the 24V and GND pins on that board. obviously that is not the correct fix to return it to factory status.
