Sound is OK, has no picture, no OSD. The panel doesn't light up at all. The voltages on the power supply board are OK, LED2003 on the main logic board is flashing. I don't have the service manual. Has anyone seen this?

Correction: It's LED2002 that's flashing.

I seem to remember a very small fuse on the inverter panel.

I just finished a Vizio VP422HDTV10A with similar symptoms, not
exactly. Mine would "come on" at plug in, draw about 1/2A of current, but
no sound, no pic, no menu, no logo on front, no response to remote or
buttons, basically brain dead. It did have flashing green LED's but the
back is on and I don't remember loc #'s, sorry. The power supply was
putting out like gangbusters, had voltages everywhere, all fuses good that
I could find, heatsinks warming up on all sustain boards, etc. I decided to
gamble on the brain (main) board and it fixed it. Just thought I'd pass on
the info. Have you got any control ? Channel change, input, etc? If not,
I'd bet on the main board.

Your response inspired me. I don't see enough plasmas to think of all the
simple steps. The set does turn on/off on command, the vol. changes,
channels don't (may only have one programmed in, inputs do change. I checked
the heat sinks on the drivers. After the set has been on for a few minutes,
one heat sink on the Z drive is warm the other is cool, all three heat sinks
on the Y drive are cool and I found a pair of resistors burned on that
board. I'm thinking I have enough to give the customer an estimate now.
Thanks for the help!
