Have this Vizio VP422HDTV10A, barely out of warranty, can't find a
service or training manual anywhere yet.
It seems to power up at plug in and won't turn off/on, draws about a 1/2
amp current, appears to have the major voltages as far as Vs, Va, etc., and
the lesser voltages that I can find marked (5V, 12V, etc). Heat sinks get
warm all over it. But no picture whatsoever. Also the blue VIZIO logo on
the front doesn't light up. The only two boards available, that I can find,
are the power supply and main (digital) board. I'm leaning toward the main
(brain) board, since there's no logo or response to buttons, and there's
voltages everywhere, but I'd sure like to verify it if I could find a
manual, or any second opinions are always welcome.
Thanks for any help.

Any progress here? I've got a Vizio VP50HDTV10A with the same symptoms. I do have the service manual for your TV I can send you.

Can you clarify the exact part # you replaced? On mine, the board that has MOST of the inputs (HDMI, component, etc) does NOT have the tuner; the tuner is on the board just to the right of that one. Just want to make sure I am replacing the same part.
Thanks!
