I have a Zenith SC2793P Bose set. The fuse for the sound board keeps blowing, taking out all audio. If I unplug the woofer speaker jack on the 9-569 sound board, the fuse doesn't blow. I think it took out an I/C, and only the left speaker works now. The woofer and the right speaker use a common I/C. I swapped out the board with a used spare I had, and all speakers worked fine for two weeks and the same thing happened all over again. Can a bad speaker take down a circuit board? I measured the resistance and compared it to a woofer on an identical set, and the values were similar. Is there any way to accurately test this type of speaker? Any info would be appreciated.
