Okay so our neighbor got a brand spankin' new tv and gave us his old one. It says on the back it's from 1997.

It's one of those Zenith projection tv's 50 inches.
From what I have gathered it is a ZENITH IQC50H94W or something really close to it.
Our neighbor told us it needed one of it's projector lights replaced or something but all 3 of the lights were lit up when we opened the back.

One of the numbers on the back of the tv was z46z83d

The best way I can describe whats going on is the screen is kind of orange-ish and you can see the red and blue lines kind of outlining whatever is on the TV. It also almost looks like the picture is bending towards the right side of the tv.

Everything else seems to be working the sound is perfect and we do have "a picture" but it's very distorted.

Can anyone help? :)

you will have to replace the stk ic's and check or replace the resistors near them, as for odd color lens might be dirty or one of the guns is failing

I don't really understand any of those terms...
And someone did mention to me it might be the gun...any idea of how we can fix this or how much it will cost to replace the gun?
We tried wiping the color lens' and the color was still the same.
